Chocolate Pecan No-Bake Cookies

2 c. Chocolate chips

3 T. Butter

1 T. Light corn syrup

pinch salt

2/3 c. Dried Cherries

1/2 c. Pecans, chopped

1/2 tsp. Vanilla

In top of double boiler over simmering water, combine chocolate chips, butter and corn syrup. Stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in salt, dried cherries, pecans and vanilla until well combined. Let cool. When mixture is cool enough to handle, drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper lined baking sheet. Let stand until firm. When firm, transfer cookies to an airtight container and store in refrigerator.
