Bach to Books
is a program
developed and coordinated by the Friends of the Allen Public
Library. Its goal is to bring arts and humanities programs to the
public free of charge. Many of the programs showcase local talent,
but others have come from all over the U.S. and the world, like
Russian singer Svetlana Strezeva. A few favorite programs in the
Bach to Books series have
included children’s illustrator pop-up artist Robert Sabuda; music
by select groups from the Allen Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra; and
the Anne Frank exhibit from the Houston Holocaust Museum |
